When it comes to doing something more than social media or messaging, do you reach for your phone? Why, why not?
Do you find it easier due to its shape or size, or is it due to something deeper? Maybe it is how the tools we use for work and heavier computing tasks are built for the traditional computer.

I still find it surprisingly appealing to use phone for reading or basic research. Phone’s form factor is by far the most optional for focusing on one screen at a time. It’s also light weight - which still makes it the most portable device in my toolkit. Moreover, years of mobile device pushed the industry to simplify many of the interfaces for smaller screens. This often makes phone just more efficient at doing a task compared to a desktop interface which will try to satisfy “all you needs”.
I think latest iPad mini lands itself somewhere in between the phone and computer, but still not as cumbersome as regular size tablet.

Totally agree Denys. The phone is a great single task device and has pushed the industry forward in simplicity.
